From 17 april till 20 june 2022

The European Cartoon Centre has made a new exhibition 'Cartoons from Belgium' with cartoons by Belgian cartoonists, version 2022! This year's theme is 'The history of Belgian art in cartoons'.

34 Belgian cartoonists did send us their works. Since the exhibition will mainly be shown abroad, we asked an international jury to choose 50 works that they would like to see on the walls of the museums. The jury members were: Marlene Pohle (Argentina), Fawzy Morsy (Egypt), Jitet Koestana (Indonesia), Ivailo Tsvetkov (Bulgaria), Leila Alaiy (Iran) and Marco D'Agostino (Italy).

The exhibition is a promotion of the Belgian cartoon abroad. The previous editions of 'Cartoons from Belgium' were shown in Argentina, Egypt, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Estonia, France, etc.

Before starting this promotional campaign, we want to show the cartoons in the ECC. You can visit the exhibition from 17 April to 19 June, every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
