From 26 june till 18 september 2016

Ivailo was born in 1964 in Sofia, where he still lives and works.
He studied ceramics at the Art School. His first cartoon was published already in 1982 when he was only 18 years old.

He works as a press cartoonist for the newspaper "Telegraph" and "Monitor".

He is also active as competition cartoonist: he won more than 100 awards and had personal exhibitions in Croatia, Russia and Slovakia. He published two books with his cartoons in 1997 and 2016.

He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and chairman of the cartoonist association FECO Bulgaria.
He was a jury member at cartoon contests in Bulgaria, Italy, Iran, Germany, Turkey, Ukraine, Macedonia and Russia.

His cartoons and caricatures stand out for their ingenious plots and his signature drawing style. They are full of gentle, good natured humour, even when illustrating grave topics of the day, such as the economic meltdown.

You can visit the exhibition in the ECC from 26 June till 18 September 2016, every Sunday from 10 to 12 am and from 2 to 5 pm. Groups of 10 persons or more are welcome on other days by appointment.
