Marcin Bondarowicz is born in 1976 in Starachowice (Poland).

 

He studied painting and graphic design at the University of Technology and Humanities in Radom. He is a graphic artist and illustrator, designs posters and press illustrations, collaborating with business and social-political publishers and magazines as well as news services and websites in Poland and abroad. He made his debut in “Puls Biznesu” business daily in 2004. He has published his cartoons in many Polish  magazines as well as abroad, e.g. in China, US, Germany, Turkey, Nepal, Great Britain and many others.

 

Marcin is a member of the Don Quichotte Cartoon Committee established by the German-Turkish group Don Quichotte, which publishes a Stuttgart-based monthly of the same title. He is also associated with the Emotionalists Artistic Group, a multi-disciplinary group founded in 1994 by Lubomir Tomaszewski, associating painters, sculptors, illustrators, photographers, graphic artists, textile designers, dancers, and musicians.

 

Bondarowicz has been participant, prize winner and jury member of many international competitions for press illustrations and cartoons. His works can be found at the Museum of Caricature and Cartoon Art in Warsaw as well as in private collections in Poland and abroad.

 

His cartoons are graphically very strong, surrealistic jewels!

 

You can visit his exhibition in the ECC from 29 January till 2 April 2017, every Sunday from 10 to 12 am and from 2 to 5 pm. Groups of 10 persons or more are welcome on other days by appointment.

Opening ceremony on Saturday 28th of January at 8 pm. in the ECC.
